14 - Opening of the Supreme Court, Christ Church Cathedral, King and George Streets, Nassau, 10am. Church service attended by members of the judiciary dressed in traditional wigs and gowns. Following the service, members proceed from the church to the Supreme Court at Rawson Sq. The Royal Bahamas Police Force Band performs.
25-29 - Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament, Ocean Club Golf Course, Paradise Island. Thirty-six celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment team up for an exciting four-day tournament schedule. $200,000 purse to benefit celebrities' charity of choice. Tel 363-2000.
