U.S. Airport Security Elevated
- Flights originating in the U.K bound for the U.S. - ORANGE
- All other domestic and international flights - ORANGE
Expect long delays at airport screening checkpoints.
What to expect:
- Travelers may now carry on-board travel-size toiletries (3oz or less) that fit comfortably in ONE, QUART-SIZED, clear plastic, zip-top bag)
- The plastic bag containing liquids must be removed at the security checkpoint and
placed on conveyor belt.
- After clearing security, travelers can now bring beverages and other items purchased in the secure boarding area on-board aircraft.

- Removal of shoes is now required.
- Random gate inspections and bag searches will continue.
- Laptop computers, cellular phones, iPods and other portable electronic devices are still allowed on board. These items must be screened at the security checkpoint, and may not be used onboard.
Remember - bringing a prohibited item to a security checkpoint (even accidentally) is illegal.
